Set Genuine
chip set components vs genuine component? which one is better?
nowadays there are so many company makes chipsets in name of genuine one, and it works well too. i have also a intel chip set mobo(approx. using it more than 2 years). so why chipset components are cheap . and why big corporation gives them license to use their chip.
a intel mobo is 100$ but its chipset version is 60$ why what is profit for chipset making company. and does it mean genuine intel mobo is a long life and chipset mobo is short life?
i also want to draw ur attention towards graphic cards too.the chipset graphic cards are cheap then their genuine component making company.does it mean genuine graphic card is a long life and chipset graphic card is short life/does it mean genuine gpu outperform his chipset companion?

It’s a lot cheaper to make a chip than to make a whole motherboard. If you can get 3/4 of the profit for 1/4 of the work, why wouldn’t you do it?

Intel has a reputation for making very good motherboards. But so do companies like Asus and (more recently) Gigabyte. But there’s also room in the market for cheap motherboards. A lot of people don’t plan on owning their computer for more than 3 years and don’t need to pay more for a motherboard with a longer life.

In the graphic card market, the chip manufacturers generally do not sell graphics cards under their own name. But no matter whose name is on the card, it’s made in the same place to the same specifications. The name on the card just determines the sticker, the software bundle, and the clock speeds.
