My 94 accord engine is emitting white smoke…help!?

I am 80% sure it has something to do with the coolant…I opened the hood and it looked like the coolant tank hose/cord was spitting coolant, plus the coolant looked low. I am going to have AAA come out but I wanted some info…I did some research and I can’t get a solid answer. I found out that white smoke is a coolant problem indicator…my question is can I get a gauge if this is major or minor?I was able to drive the car home, although it was smoking the whole time.

f the white smoke is coming out of the exhaust is sounds like a blown head gasket and this is a big problem and needs to be fixes as soon as possible and the car should not be driven unless absolutly nessesary. If you drive it the engine may overheat and warp the engine and this is a bad thnig.

If the white smoke is coming out in front of the car you may have a broken hose. This is a much better problem to have but it needs to be fixed as soon as possible so the car does not over heat and cause you more problems. A hose is easy to do yourself. Just go to the autoparts store and tell tehm which hose and they will hook you up and all you have to do is replace it.
